PSHE
‘PSHE’ is an acronym which stands for ‘Personal, Social, Health and Economic education’. Our school follows the PSHE Association programme of study:

At St Nicholas Primary School we believe that children need to be taught key life skills and PSHE provides a regular opportunity for this. The children learn about skills such as successful group interaction, dealing with loss and techniques for controlling feelings of anger.
The children explore the core themes, through exciting lessons appropriately pitched for their level.
Activities can be sent out as homework for children to complete with their family and to consolidate the classroom learning.
